Paul Anthony Bennett, Jr., 43, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away on June 1st, 2024. He was born on February 6, 1981, to Betty Jean Bennett and Paul Anthony Bennett, Sr.
After graduating from Glynn Academy, Paul went on to serve the community as a tile mason for over 15 years. His family fondly remembers his ability to do it all and his reputation as an everyman – there was no problem he couldn't fix! – as well as his reputation for never leaving a dull moment, always leaving a crowd gasping or laughing. Paul marched to the beat of his own drum, had no filter, and was thoroughly true to himself.
A family man through and through, Paul was married to the love of his life, Heather Nicole Gaskins, for 23 years. Above all else, he was devoted to his family in every way – when any issue arose, big or small, his family knew without a shadow of a doubt that they could count on him. When he was not working, he could often be found on the water, blasting his music, going to concerts, and altogether living life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Heather Nicole Gaskins; sons, Paul Anthony Bennett III and Ian Alexander Gaskins; a daughter, Cheyenne Jean Bennett; his mother, Betty Jean Bennett; sisters, Kristy Nicole Bennett and Paula Ann Hood (Duane).
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul Anthony Bennett, Sr.; and his grandmother, Mary Alice Bennett.
A memorial service will be held on June 8th, 2024, at Hopewell Baptist Church located at 4900 Post Road, Hortense, Georgia, 31543, starting at 3:30 PM.
Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to have assisted the Bennett family.
