Kingsville – Israel "Rile" Vasquez passed away peacefully March 29, 2025 after a short illness with his loving family at his side. He was 72.
Rile was born July 26, 1952 in Kingsville, Texas to Rosa (Moreno) and Estanislado Vasquez. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsville and had worked as a Welder for many years. Rile was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will missed by everyone who knew him.
Preceding in death are his parents: Estanislado and Rosa Vasquez; siblings: Rosa Benitez, Consuelo Benitez, Estanislado Vasquez, Jr, Beatriz Saldana and Rosario Cantu.
Survivors include his sons: Israel Vasquez, Jr. from Kingsville, Texas; Jose Gabriel Vasquez from Falfurrias, Texas; Benjamin Vasquez from Alice, Texas; daughters: Maria Teresa League (Steven) from Fredericksburg, Virginia; Amanda Vasquez-Mashburn from Kingsville, Texas; Mary Elizabeth Vasquez (Wayne Magill) from Austin, Texas; 6 grandchildren: Gavin Dismukes, Adam Vasquez, Daniel Ramos, III, Jaxon Mashburn, Jeremy Vasquez and Nicole Vasquez; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; and his beloved fur baby: Bronson.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, 230 E. Ella Ave, Kingsville, Texas. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 6:30 PM at the funeral home. A prayer service will follow the rosary. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025, 10:00 AM at Central Baptist Church, 901 E. Henrietta, Kingsville, Texas with Pastor Torres officiating. Burial will follow in Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery, Kingsville, Texas.
