Connie & Larry,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how close you were. She was my dearest friend through so many tough times all throughout middle school & high school. I’ll always be grateful for the support, laughter, and kindness she gave me. I’ll never forget how we would try to act so cool when Connie would pick us up in her Camaro—of course, we had to convince her to take us to Sonic so we could have a better chance of being seen by our classmates. Those moments of joy, friendship, and feeling carefree are memories I’ll always treasure. April had such a kind heart and a way of making everyone around her feel seen and valued.
My heart goes out to her family and everyone who loved her. I hope you can find comfort in knowing how much she touched the lives of those around her. Rest in peace, my friend—you will always be remembered and missed. ❤
