Jacob Benitez Obituary

Jacob Elijah Benitez, 2, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Jacob was born to Lizbeth Benitez in Baytown on September 22, 2022. He was a very active, joyful, and caring little boy. Even on bad days, he always had a smile on his face. He loved playing with his cars, balls, and tablet and playing chase with his mother. He loved watching Curious George, anime, and Looney Tunes and enjoyed dancing, drawing, painting, and taking pictures. He was obsessed with drinking his dynamo yogurt, and his favorite foods were French fries and macaroni and cheese. He was a light in the life of his mother and family, his love for them shining through in every moment. He is still deeply loved, and will be greatly missed.
Jacob is survived by his mother, Lizbeth Benitez; his grandmother, Luz Benitez; his aunts, Stephanie Benitez and Bethsaida Benitez; his uncle, Gustavo Benitez; and a community of family and friends who have been a source of strength and support during this difficult time.
A visitation to honor Jacob's memory will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service at noon at Victory Baptist Church in Baytown and an interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
