James Anderson Obituary

James Erwin Anderson was born November 16, 1931 in Silver Lake Township, Martin County, Minnesota to parents Roy and Lillie (nee Linde) Anderson. He graduated from East Chain High School in 1949.
In 1951 he joined the US Army and served in Korea and Japan. He was married to Faye Lynn Chitwood on June 14, 1959, in Mount Vernon Texas. They were blessed with two children, Kris and Jeanyne.
He was employed by Texas Instruments, retiring in 1990. In 2006, they moved to Denton Texas to be near their children and grandchildren.
Jim had many hobbies including ham radio, flying and the Boy Scouts of America.
James passed away on October 1, 2024. He is survived by his wife Faye Lynn Anderson, sister Margaret Riedesel, brother in law Keith Riedesel, son Kris Anderson, daughter in law Shannon Anderson, daughter Jeanyne Dugger and son in law Ron Dugger. Grandchildren, Josh, Eric, Kaylee, Krista, YiPing, Keaton, and great grandchild Dani.
Jim was preceded in death by both his parents, his aunts and uncles plus several cousins.
Cremation will be performed and a private memorial service will be held at Dallas-Ft Worth national Cemetery, Dallas Tx in November 2024
