James Broughton Obituary
James David ("Jimbo"), aged 63. Born, Saturday, November 19, 1960 at Sherman, Texas. Mr. Broughton passed on, Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Troy, Michigan.
Mr. Broughton is survived by Spouse, Stacey Broughton of Fremont, Indiana. Father of; Jessica Ann (David Goetz) Broughton of Fremont, Indiana, Joshua David ((Monica McFarland) of Milford, Michigan, Jammie Lee Broughton of Fremont, Indiana. Grandfather of Rylee, Madyson, Wyatt, Davey & McCoy Goetz, Morgan, Bentley, Baylee, Jayden, Emmett & Isabella Broughton. Brother of Joetta (Steve) Richardson and an array of nieces & nephews. He is survived by his father David Ray Broughton of Houghton Lake & the late (3/7/2014) Dorothy Fay (Harvey) Broughton.
"Jimbo" has been a carpenter since the early age of ten. He worked with his cousin learning the "art" of installing hardwood floor. He later started his own business - "JB Barn Stormers" building pole barns. He is a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American League. He dedicated eight years to running a crew for the Habitat for Humanity organization. Mr. Broughton is a graduate of Walled Lake Western High School - class of 1978.
At the time of this writing there are no services planned. Cremation has taken place.
