James Carlisle Obituary

James Earl Carlisle, 72, passed away January 13, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson. Graveside services will be 11am Wednesday at Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Carlisle, a longtime resident of Copiah County, worked at Copiah Lumber for 30+ years. He loved to ticker with anything mechanical especially old cars. He loved working with Hope and her horses in his spare time. He was one of the most loving and providing man that any family could ever ask for.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; his daughter, Hope Carlisle; son, Wayne Henderson; sister, Charlotte McElveen and Janice Shows; brother, Timmy Carlisle; grandchild, Seth Henderson.
