Graveside Service for James (Jim) Carroll Pritchett, age 79, of Winnsboro, TX will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Seymore Cemetery, Yantis, TX. Buddy Wiggins will officiate. Mr. Pritchett passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Christus Mother of Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX.
James was born November 12, 1944 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Elsie Louise Hoover and Hollis Odie Pritchett. He worked in a paper factory for many years.
He is survived by sons, James Pritchett, Jr. and David LaCaze; granddaughter, Linsay LaCaze; brother, Jerry Pritchett and wife Carolyn; sisters, Gina Murray and husband Joe, Melva McClenny and husband Donnie, and Rebecca Urias. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
James is preceded in death by parents, Elsie Hoover Pouge and Hollis Pritchett; sisters, Mary Ruth Caywood and Hollis June Pritchett.
