In Loving Memory of James D. Tanner, born in Durango, Colorado. Jim was sixth child of Don and Ruth McGee Tanner. At the age of two years, his family moved to Farmington, NM where he graduated, Class of 1967. He attended college three years University of New Mexico and University of Utah.
As a young man, Jim had pride and joy being builder of many homes and businesses in Salt Lake City, Utah and Farmington, New Mexico areas. As an older man, Jim had pride and joy being a family man with his wife, Linda, daughter, Jennifer, grandchildren, Sabrina, Abbigail, Amelia, Anna Lease, Jayden and Ariya.
Jim enjoyed physical activities playing tennis, racket ball, golf, an avid runner of 10 K's he accomplished the Shiprock Marathon. He loved to walk the river trails with his dogs and least forget he was one mean chess player.
Jim was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne, Harold, Halworth, Colin, Thomas, sisters, Marie, Leah Carlon, Helen Stradling, Ann, Ramona, Donna. Jim is survived by his family and brothers, David and Steven.
A "Celebration of His Life" will be held in Arizona.
