James Temple Obituary

James Temple (70) of Princeton NC, died peacefully on January 7, 2025, surrounded by family after a brief illness. James, a Rahway NJ native, was born on February 26, 1954, to Raymond and June Temple. He graduated from Rahway High School in 1972. James met the love of his life Anna Coppola in 1973, and they were married in April 1975. He was an exceptional Father and an even more attentive Grandfather to his 3 grandchildren. James enjoyed spending time with his family, He also enjoyed playing softball, cards with friends and bowling in local leagues. Known for his work ethic, generous and humorous nature, James was loved and admired by those who knew him. He retired from his job as a Maintenance supervisor in 2019 and moved to Princeton, North Carolina with his wife to be close to their family.
James was predeceased by his parents Raymond and June, his beloved wife Anna, his brothers, Richard, Thomas, Allen, and sister Durlyn Hunt.
He is survived by his children James Temple 2, Cheryl and her husband Ken. His grandchildren Corwin, (wife Nikita), Kaitlyn, and Kelly. He is also survived by his sister Robin, (husband Peter) and brothers Robert, (wife Linda), Douglas and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service to be held at a later date.

Sending my deepest sympathies for the loss of your beloved father. He was such a wonderful family man with a great sense of humor. I know how much you must miss him already. I know that he's reunited with your Mom and that they're watching over you all.
