James Werner Obituary
James Frederick "Fred" Werner, age 80, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Fred was born July 8, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Fred Werner and Evelyn (Causbie) Werner. Mr. Werner earned a Master’s Degree from Southern Methodist University and dedicated his career to the First National Bank, where he proudly retired after 55 years of service.
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Kay Werner; son, Christopher Lee Werner; and daughter, DeAnna Kay Werner.
He is remembered fondly by his surviving son, Jim Bob Werner of Weatherford, Texas; cherished grandchildren, Courtney Werner, Micheal Werner, Dustin Werner, and Kelli Duncan; as well as his great-grandchildren, Kyndi Werner, AllieFaye Flores, Ashlyn Werner, and Haislee Woodson. He also leaves behind his fiancée, Charleen Moyer, along with other family members and dear friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Werner's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas. Fred will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
