Jane Bohan Glazier of Fort Morgan passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on April 4, 1942, to Virginia and James Bohan. After high school, she attended Bennett College in Millbrook, NY for two years before transferring to the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she earned a degree in elementary education. She spent many years teaching first grade, a job she loved and took great pride in.
Jane moved to Denver, Colorado, where she met Gene Glazier. They married in 1968 and built a life together, raising their two children, Rich Glazier of San Antonio, Texas, and Linda Frasco of Fort Morgan, Colorado. Being a mom and later a grandmother was one of the most important parts of her life. She loved spending time with her family and was always there to support and celebrate them.
She had a wide circle of friends and an active, engaged life. In her earlier life she enjoyed playing tennis, skiing, gardening, traveling and volunteering in her communities. She spent time working at a women's shelter and reading with children in local schools-causes she cared deeply about. More recently, she enjoyed yoga, reading, watercolor painting, and spending time with her friends. She was the kind of person people enjoyed being around-easygoing, kind, and always up for a good conversation.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and James Bohan, her husband, Gene Glazier, and her brother, James (Jim) Bohan Jr. She is survived by her children Rich and Linda, their spouses RJ and Jason and her four grandchildren, Ryan, Ruby, Whitney, and Tessa, and her brother, Robert (Bob) Bohan of Denver, Colorado.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Fort Morgan United Methodist Church. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories.
