Janet Scruggs West Obituary
Janet Scruggs West, age 74, of Boiling Springs, NC, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at her residence.
Janet was born Friday, August 19, 1949 in Rutherford County to the late W.P. Scruggs and Marie Thrift Scruggs. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1967 and was of the Baptist faith. She worked most recently in home healthcare as a CNA. Janet enjoyed working on puzzle books, coloring and especially taking trips to the beach in her earlier years.
Those left to treasure her memory include her daughter, Sherry Davis Lane (Paul) of Carrollton, Georgia; grandson, Rev. Austin Lane (Olivia) of Hoboken, Georgia; sister, Terrie Benson (Barry) of Spartanburg; aunt, Margaret Lovelace of Boiling Springs, NC; many cousins which includes her special cousin, Brenda “Susie” Randolph (Ray) of Chesnee, SC.
In honor of Janet’s wishes there will be no formal services conducted.
