On the morning of Sunday, September 21, 2025, Terry Andy Wilson, 74, of Marion, passed away at Elevate Health & Rehabilitation.
A native of McDowell County, Terry was born on February 6, 1951 to the late Andy Wilson and Grace Ellen Wilson.
Terry, who was known for his great intelligence, received a scholarship to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then served honorably in the United States Army and later attended Western Carolina University. Terry retired from Ethan Allen where he had a record of perfect attendance for fourteen years. He was a sports fanatic who could remember countless pieces of information about any team or player. He was especially a fan of the UNC Tarheels.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca Kelly.
He is survived by two sisters, Cindi Wilson and Sharon Vasta; one brother, Tommy Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
A private burial will be held at the Dysartsville Church of Christ Cemetery at a later date.
