Janice Price Cain, age 81, of Snellville Georgia, (formerly of Dewey Rose and Lawrenceville, Ga), passed away October 7th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Cain, her daughter Cheryl Cain Wilkerson, parents Johnny and Edna Price, and siblings Jamie Price and Joyce Royals.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Dennis and Sharon Cain of Jacksonville, Fl., Luke and Angel Cain of Winder, Ga., one granddaughter Hannah Cain, and her loving Labradoodle, Ella Rose who now resides in Jacksonville Fl. Her sisters Patricia A. Price and Sandra P. Wages both of Snellville Ga, sisters-in-law Diane Price of Monroe, Ga and Ann Cain of Jefferson, Ga. Also surviving are several nieces nephews great nieces great nephews extended family and many many close friends.
Janice attended Central Gwinnett High School and married the love of her life Nelson Cain on July 3rd 1960. She was a small business owner, homemaker, an excellent cook, loved bowling, NASCAR, gardening, and raised many loving bulldogs.
A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Janice will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 12:00PM (Noon) at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Harold Savage and Pastor Dean Head officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 11th from 10:00AM until the time of service at 12:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center in Lawrenceville Georgia.
