Jasmynn Brown, a loving daughter, sister, and friend, went home to Jesus in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. We believe she was greeted with open arms by her Lord and savior and was reunited with her uncle, Christopher Monroe, where she was immersed in a sense of peace that is beyond our understanding.
Jasmynn was born on February 19th, 2009 in the Woodlands Texas to her mother Brooke Hunter and father Devonte Brown. She grew up surrounded by her loving family. She has three siblings who adored her and would say she was the best gift their parents could have ever given them. Jasmynn was influenced by her family and grew up to be a strong, loving, and fierce young woman. Anyone who met Jasmynn, loved her. She was immensley caring, hilariously funny, and always marched to the beat of her own drum.
Jasmynn attended many schools in her short time here, and though she may have not been the biggest fan of them, she always excelled at anything she put her mind to. Jasmynn made the A and A/B honor roll multiple times, as well as also winning three different art contests in school. She was remarkably artistic, from teaching herself how to crochet to painting art that could take your breath away, much like the sunsets we believe she has been painting for us from Heaven.
Having Jasmynn around brought color to any situation, being that when she loved, she loved fiercely. Her smile radiated with her warmth and her joy and energy will forever be deeply missed.
Together, we not only honor her, we help carry her light forward.
John 11:25 reads- Jesus said to her,
"I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me,
though he dies, yet shall he live.
" While Jasmynn's time with us here on Earth was cut much too
short, let us find comfort in knowing we will see her again.
