A lifelong resident of North Augusta, SC and a 1979 graduate of North Augusta High School, he was a son of the late Lowell Rhett and Mary Lake Brown. He had previously managed several grocery stores in the area. Jeff was an avid Gamecock fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, trips to Tybee and to the lake.
In addition to his parents, family members include his children, Aimee Brown and Derek Brown, siblings, Dean Brown and his wife, Kim, Connie Porowski and her husband, the late Paul and Tim Brown and grandchildren, Braydon, Kadence and Haven Adams.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

I first met Jeff at NA Sr. High while he was dating my best friend Janet Boone Brown Dinkins. A lot of good memories, a lot of good times. Jeff was always a sweet guy with an infectious smile. RIP my friend until we meet again on the other side.
