His wonderful siblings Larry, Sr., (Debbie) Smouthers, Laura (David) Gorman, Patrick (Linda) Smouthers, Susannne Smouthers, Brenda McKinney, Walter Smouthers and Roger Smouthers. Leonard enjoyed spending time with his family, including his occasional visits to Lapeer to see his mom and brother. He played a fatherly role to everyone in the family and was especially devoted to his grandchildren with whom he shared a special connection. He was dedicated to helping those around him. He enjoyed listening to music, especially rock and roll, and he loved to gamble at the MGM Motor City casino. Leonard had a profound sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him.
