Mr. Philpott passed away after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Jim Fussell.
He is survived by his partner Caesar David Ramirez of Gilmer, daughter Jeana Walters, son Jay Philpott and Brandy, grandchildren Jersi and Briar Walters, Kailynn and Shayne Bullock and Hayze Hebert and his mother Mary Fussell all of Kilgore. Left behind are also his brothers Ricky Philpott and wife Rene' of Boerne, Steve Philpott of Kilgore, stepsisters Christy O'Rear of Longview and Tina Walls of Liberty City as well as his uncle Bill Crouch of Longview, cousins Danny Crouch, Billy Crouch and Cindy Crouch Peck, several nephews, a niece, and many other cousins.
A visitation with family and friends will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., 2704 Redbud, Kilgore, Texas. A private memorial will follow at a later date.
