Mrs. Jennifer ‘Denise’ Adams Jordan, 60, of Plantation Road, Elberton, wife of 41 years to Timothy Franklin Jordan, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Born in Royston on January 17, 1964, she was the oldest child of George Elvin Adams and Linda Mae Thornton Adams. Denise was a graduate of Elbert County High School. She worked as a Case Manager at Hart County DFACS, where she had been employed for the past 28 years. Denise was a dedicated worker who touched countless lives throughout her career. She was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church where she served as secretary, and taught teen kids on Wednesday nights. Denise’s smile would light up a room, and her love for her grandchildren was second to none.

Surviving, in addition to her husband Tim and mother Linda, both of Elberton, are her sons: Timothy Brad Jordan and his wife Kayla and George Catlin Jordan and his wife Abby, all of Elberton; siblings: Wayne and Nickie Adams of Michigan, Teresa Adams and Steve Brown of Elberton, Mike and Kim Adams of Elberton, and Keith and Amy Adams of Elberton; grandchildren who absolutely adored their “Gigi”: Aubrey, Karlie, Kinley, Annalise, and Blaze; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends on Friday, October 18, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.

Memorial services celebrating Denise’s life will be conducted on Saturday, October 19, at 11:00a.m. at Faith Baptist Church with the Revs. Jamie Callaway and John Creason officiating.

Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to Faith Baptist Church, 2827 Bowman Highway, Bowman, GA 30624, or you may honor Denise’s memory by helping a needy family during the holidays.
