Jeremey Dale Wood, age 44, of Estill Springs, Tennessee, passed away on December 7, 2024, at Vanderbilt- Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, Tennessee. He was born on April 15, 1980, to Roger Wood and Sherrie Pruitt Willams in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Jeremey previously worked in the IT Department of Nissan for over 20 years, and most recently was one of the inventors and entrepreneurs of Huckleberry Digital. Jeremey dedicated countless hours to mastering games, sharing strategies, and creating an inclusive online community. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend, his passion for hockey was only matched by his love for his family. His warmth, kindness, and infectious personality will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sherrie Williams; brother-in-law, Curt Alsup. He is survived by his loving wife of four years, Cortney Wood; children, Alex and Eli Wood; parents, Roger Wood (Sharon) and John Williams; siblings, Will Joyce (Andy), Tommy Joyce (Kim), Tina Jones (Dave), Roger Wood II, Angie Alsup, Melissa Hopkins (Barry), Tammy Rash (Steve), Anita Peoples (Duane), and Brian Logan (Katie); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Gifford officiating. Internment will immediately follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia, Tennessee.
