Jerry Don Moore-81, Edmond, OK- passed in the early hours of August 17th, 2024. He was born in Gorman, TX on September 5th, 1942 to the late Alma Jane Nance and Alva Moore.
Jerry work for the State of New Mexico for 22 years and retired at the age of 62. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. Jerry liked to be up on current events and was an avid new watcher. He also enjoyed working crossword puzzles to keep his mind sharp.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara (Joan) Dennis.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Vera Sue Moore; children, Christy Payne, Casey Moore, Kerrie Olszewski, Donna Cox, and Darlene Doss; brother, Arthur Moore; sister Judy Offutt; grandchildren, Kollin Payne, Elliana Moore, Joseph Fontilea, Briana Griffin, Haley Maddox; and great-grandchildren, Brady Griffin, Benji Griffin, Brynlee Griffin, Cooper Maddox, Hudson Maddox, and Owen Maddox.
There will be a memorial service in Oklahoma Spring of 2025. Date and Place to be determined.
