Jimmy Rogers Tallant, age 87, of Winston, Georgia, formerly of the Blue Bayou community Nashville, AR; passed away on August 28, 2025. He was born in Howard County, Arkansas on May 2, 1938, son of the late Walter Tallant and the late Ethel Wakefield Tallant.
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from the City of Atlanta, GA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Jean Nash Tallant; sister: Jewel Faye; brothers: Billy Tallant, Jerry Tallant, and James Tallant.
He is survived by his sons; David Tallant and his wife Patricia, Keith Tallant and his wife Nancy; grandchildren: Megan Tallant, Kyle Tallant, Spencer Rich, Amelia Tallant, Barrett Tallant; great-grandchildren: Emory Boyd, Skylar Boyd, McKenzie Boyd; sister: Joyce Geck and her husband Ronnie; sisters-in-law: Polly Tallant and Denise Tallant; and several nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes he was cremated.
A memorial inurnment service will be held at County Line Cemetery, Nashville, AR, 1:00 pm, Friday, October 24, 2025 with officiant Brandon Tallant
