Joan Larkins Obituary

Joan Larkins, age 81, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Member of the Whitehall VFW Post #8794 where she was a past President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She returned to the workforce as a receptionist at Nutis Press, where she worked for several years after dedicating time to raising her children. She had a gifted green thumb and a love for butterflies and hummingbirds. She enjoyed camping with her family at Lake Wapasun. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She will be sadly missed by her family. Survived by sons, Steve (Vicki) Anderson, Scott Anderson; daughter Melissa (Harold) Rosser; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Richard "Dick" Larkins; parents, Warren and Katherine Poston and brother, Richard "Dick" Poston. Private services for family at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family to receive friends at Whitehall VFW Post #8794, 4100 East Main Street, Columbus, OH 43213 on Friday, August 22nd at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
