Joey Damron Obituary
Joey Moses "Moe" Damron, age 68, passed away November 7, 2025, at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1957 to the late Glen and Clearcy Jane Meadows Damron. Joey was the husband of Robbie Adkins Damron, a coal miner for Teco Coal and a member of the Christian faith.
Besides his parents Joey was preceded in death by three brothers, Glen Dale Damron, Jessie Lee Damron, Nelson Damron, two sisters Geraldine Damron and Brenda Adkins Robinson.
Along with his wife Joey is survived by his two daughters, Tasha Renae (Austin) Mollett, Kayla Brooke (Martin) Slone, four brothers, Joseph (Lesia) Damron, Clyde Damron, Johnny (Pam) Damron, Frank (Sharon) Damron, six sisters, Sharon Kay Newsome, Mary (Terry) Riley, Irene (Tim) Birchfield, Martha Pinson, Marietta Jean (Hank) Mowery, Linda Hall, three grandchildren, Reagan Mollett, Abram Slone, Natalie Slone and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday November 10, 2025, at Lucas and Son Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 PM with a church service beginning at 7:00 PM with Richard Holmes Officiating. Funeral Services will be November 11, 2025, at Lucas and Son Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 PM with Richard Holmes officiating. Burial to follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery Pikeville, KY.
