Worcester-John A. Caffrey, 56, passed away Wednesday, October 30 in his home.
He leaves, six siblings, Colyne E. Germain of Auburn, Susan H. Scavone and her husband, Francis of Worcester, Douglas E. Caffrey and his wife, Carol of Milford, Nancy L. Brunell and her husband, David of Upton Eleanor A. Caffrey-Bianchini of Connecticut, and Martha M. Caffrey of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews; Four brothers, James J., Stephen C., William N. and Jeffrey S., predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Colwyn D. and Eleanor A. (Mauke) Caffrey.
John loved spending time with his family, roommates, staff, and friends.
Over the years, John was involved with special Olympics and loved attending his day program at Seven Hills ASPIRE. He also enjoyed outings with The Arc of Opportunity staff, and family/friends.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services are private. Burial will be in Saint John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Arc of Opportunity, Fitchburg Ma and Seven Hills Foundation ASPIRE, West Boylston, Worcester MA
