John DiSalvo Obituary

John Joseph DiSalvo, 63 years old, of New Dorp Beach died November 6th 2024 surrounded by family. John was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 24th, 1961. He was a devoted husband of 40 years to Cindy Disalvo and proud father and grandfather. He worked as a dedicated US postal service worker for 36 years. He loved being in the city and loved his customers. Once retired, he took on the job of babysitting his grandchildren; a roll he took very seriously and was so proud. He thought of himself as an artist who enjoyed playing guitar, writing songs, and painting.He is survived by his mother, Camille Disalvo, his sister, Maryann McDonnell, his wife, Cindy DiSalvo, his three kids, John (Cynthia), Kristy (Richie) and Melanie (Christopher). And his three grandchildren, Oliver, Savannah and Ethan. He was pre-deceased by his father, Joseph Disalvo, brother, Vincent Disalvo, and granddaughter, Sophia Kirk
