Memorial services for John Timothy Evans, 57, of Campti, LA will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Blanchard- St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. He passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at his home in Campti. Tim was born on March 11, 1966, to his parents Roy Evans and Mary Lousie Jones.
Tim absolutely loved his family, especially his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy. He was a lineman for years and had a passion for building and installing power lines. When Tim was not working, he loved sitting around a fire with family and friends telling stories and laughing. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Evans, brother Royce Ray Evans, and his grandparents Charlie and Viola Jones.
Left to cherish Tim’s memory are his three daughters, Brandi Fredieu and husband Justin, Shannon Tarpley and husband Caleb, and Lily Evans; mother Louise Jones; sister Tammy Farmer and significant other Tracey White; longtime partner Linda Todd; grandchildren Baylen, Britain, Paxtyn, Paisley, Blake, Brooks, and Parker; nieces and nephews Morgan Davis, Josey Hemperley, and John Dillon Ray Hemperley; and a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
