His driving skills did not stop there, He was employed by the Forrest City School District Transportation Department as a Bus Driver. He became "Mr. King" to the students whom he transported on field trips and games always offering a word of encouragement. In his off time, you could find him sitting on his porch waving and saying, "ya wheels rolling if not try ya breaks!" or playing spades, Phase 10 with his family, friends and special sons Johnathon and Jeremy Rolfe and Clifford Lay.
He departed this life at his home on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Johnny was a driver for Howard Baer Trucking in Nashville. I was a dispatcher there and I always loved it when he came into the office. That great smile and big booming voice. Always lifted my spirits. Will miss you my friend.
