Joseph Harris Obituary
Joseph Patrick Harris, 83, of Inman, SC, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 at Upstate Community Hospice House, Landrum. Joseph was born in Spartanburg, SC on December 28, 1941, a son of the late Florence (Jones) and Joe Kelly Harris. He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Canady and her husband Tony; three grandchildren, Makenna, Eli, and Kade Canady; a sister, Diana Hope and her husband Russell; a sister in law, Gwen Shipman and her husband Steve, also many nieces and nephews. he was predeceased by a brother, Charles Michael Harris.
Joseph was retired from Carolina Brass and Aluminum, as a mold operator and was a member of The Silverado Band.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, SC officiated by Rev. Sean Fortner. Visitation will follow the service.
The family requests donations to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
