While in Jamaica Joyce attended Happy Grove High School, following high school she attended culinary school. Later, she moved to Bermuda where she stayed for a brief time. Joyce eventually moved to the U.S. where she attended York College, in New York. She worked for Bernard Feinstein Developmental Center until her retirement. After retirement she moved to North Carolina with her daughter Nadia.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Nadia Campbell-Johnson, a special friend Garnett Clarke and a host of other relatives and friends.
Nadia has requested that visits to the residence be limited to the hours of 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday only.
Viewing:
Sunday November 3, 2024, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Smithfield First SDA Church 813 S. Fifth Street Smithfield, NC 27577.
Funeral Service: Sunday November 3, 2024, at 1:00 pm Smithfield First SDA Church 813 S. Fifth Street Smithfield, NC 27577. Services will stream live on our Facebook page starting at noon.
