Juanita Collins, 90, of Mansfield, formerly of Wooster, passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital.
Juanita was born November 14, 1934, in Fredricksburg to Charles Foster and Mary Ann {Daugherty} Kennedy.
She married Dorsey Collins in1954. He died in 1962. She then married James Collins in 1964, they were married 56 years, he passed away in 2020.
After raising her children, she was a nursing assistant for 27 years working form many area nursing homes. She enjoyed spending time with her family, music, and yodeling. She loved traveling to Marietta to spend time with her family.
Juanita will be deeply missed by her children Joyce (Greg) Weber of Shreve, Janice (Phil) Buzzard of Mansfield, Jennifer Harper of Jeromesville; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law Ruth Kerrigan of Little Hocking.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husbands Dorsey Collins and James Collins and her sons Robert, William, and James A. Collins.
Friends may call Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 2:30 at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Juanita-Collins) with Pastor Daron Butler officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
