Abbeville- Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Juanita Margaret Ardeneaux Hardin, 81, who passed away on October 4, 2024 at Maison duMonde Living Center.
She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend Brad Broussard officiating.
Juanita's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many in her roles as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated many years to serving others as a Cafeteria Manager in the Vermilion Parish School system. Her passion for cooking extended beyond her profession to her home, where she found joy in preparing meals for her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carl James Hardin; four daughters, Ruth Potier (Keith) of Abbeville, Lisa Griffith (Hallie) of Moss Bluff, Amy Turnley (Matt) of Meaux, and Janet Dahlen of Abbeville, as well as her brother Paul Ardeneaux (Denise) of Abbeville; seven beloved grandchildren: Matthew Griffith, Brett Griffith, Paige Potier, Seth Dahlen, Ross Dahlen, Alexa Broussard, and Alex Clark; and fifteen great grandchildren.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, John Ardeneaux and the former Mary Wilda Toups; and a sister, Joyce Veazey.
In honor of Juanita's life, a visitation will be held at Vincent Funeral Home in Abbeville on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 8 pm; and Monday, October 7, 2024, from 8:00 am until time of service.
