Judith Lester Obituary

Judith Lester of Monroeville passed away on October 16, 2024. Born in Collingswood, Judith was the daughter of Edward & Ruth (Shellington) Nason. She graduated from Collingswood High School and has been a member of Christ Community Baptist Church in Upper Pittsgrove. She enjoyed reading and learning about the myths and legends of ghosts, and enjoyed playing Canasta with friends Sandy and Carl, as well as going shopping, especially to Walmart. However, what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. Whatever the event was as long as the family was together sharing stories and a laugh she was happy and content.
She is survived by her husband Steven Lester; children, Gary Taylor (LeAnn), Shelley Stepien, Brad Taylor (Nancy), Amy Kellem (Adam), Kelly Lissolo and Scott Lester (Ashlee); her sister, Eileen Nason-Slimm; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Garrett, Evan, Colin, Nolan, Adam, Taylor, Casey, Kendall, Thomas, Hayden, Tyler, Charlie, Ellie and Rylie, nine great grandchildren and two nieces, Kelly and Kristy and a nephew Woody.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the Christ Community Baptist Church, 188 Rt. 40, Elmer, NJ 08318. The viewing will begin at 10 AM with the service following at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Chestnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations can be sent to the Morales family, missionaries to Israel and whom the church supports, in care of Christ Community Baptist Tabernacle at 188 Rt. 40, Newfield, NJ 08344 in Judith's memory. www.adamsfuneralhome.org
