Justine Celeste Barrett, age 48, of Grand Haven, Michigan, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Born on June 27, 1976, in Milwaukee, she was the spirited daughter of Barb Meier and James Dierbeck, and a beloved sister to Jerri Pollack and Glenn Marsh.
Justine's passion for life was evident in everything she did, from her love of music to her joy in taking long rides that often ended with her toes in the sand at her favorite beach. Her thoughtful nature made her a cherished friend and a beacon of kindness in her community. Above all, Justine's greatest joy and crowning achievement were her children, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. She was a devoted mother to Blair O'Ceallaigh, Hailey Vanderstelt, and William Barrett III, and each of them inherited their mother's passionate spirit and thoughtful heart. Throughout her life, Justine's radiant energy and love for the simple pleasures in life uplifted those around her. She had an innate ability to find beauty in the everyday, a quality that endeared her to many and will be deeply missed. Justine's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the power of living with an open heart. She will be remembered for her ability to turn any moment into a cherished memory and for her unwavering dedication to her family. She leaves behind a family who adored her: her mother, Barb Meier; her father, James Dierbeck; her older sister, Jerri Pollack; her older brother, Glenn Marsh; her eldest daughter, Blair O'Ceallaigh; her youngest daughter, Hailey Vanderstelt; and her youngest son, William Barrett III. Each of them will carry forward her spirit, her passion, and her thoughtfulness in their own lives. Justine Celeste Barrett's journey through life was marked by an unquenchable zest and a deep-seated compassion for others. Her departure is a significant loss to all who knew her, and she will be held in loving memory by her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. As the sun sets on the life of Justine Celeste Barrett, we are reminded to cherish every moment, to live with passion, and to love without reservation, just as she did. Her light, though no longer present in this world, continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched.
A private ceremony will be held to honor the life and spirit of Justine. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and they express their heartfelt gratitude for the support and compassion shown to them during this difficult time. Justine's memory will be forever etched in the lives of those she loved and in the beauty of the world she so cherished.
