Kaine Alister Murphy was born on April 14, 2022 in Longview to Joseph and Brandi Murphy. He gained his wings on Wednesday night, December 18, 2024 while surrounded by his family in a Dallas hospital. A cheerful and uplifting celebration of his life will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024 in the Chapel of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. A viewing and visitation will begin at 12 PM prior to the service. In his short time here, Kaine developed love for many things. He would often encourage his "Granny" to "go moke outside" so he could spend time doing some of his favorite things, jumping on the trampoline and sliding. He knew how to express himself often using colorful language when he knew his "Granny" was taking the kids to the school. He was always the life of the party. He loved Cocomelon "JJ". Kaine would command your attention and would often play possum if he knew he was in the dog house. His family would often find toys hidden in places they weren't expected to be. Kaine was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother, Ester Louise Byrd; maternal great grandmother, Marie Phillips. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Brandi Murphy of Daingerfield; brother, Jaxson Murphy of Daingerfield; paternal grandmother, Jodi "Granny" McAnally of Pittsburg; aunt, Ruth McAnally of Pittsburg; maternal uncle Gordon Phillips of Quitman, and aunt, Kathy Harris of Quitman.
