Kathryn Appel Johnson, 55, of Parkton, North Carolina died in a car accident on December 23rd, 2023.
Born in Hackensack New Jersey, in 1968, daughter of James T. Appel (Pam) of Port Charlotte Florida, and Sandra D’Ambrosio of Parkton North Carolina.
Kathi attended South View High School, class of 1986. She was a preschool and kindergarten teacher for 25 years before retiring for health reasons. She loved her two sons more than anything, along with her 6 puppies and 3 kitties. She also loved to spend time with her mom, especially attending Bible study at Green Springs Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, Kathi is survived by her husband Keith, her oldest son Tyler Johnson of Parkton, North Carolina, her youngest son Samuel Johnson of Charlotte, North Carolina, and her sister Laurie Davis (Greg) of Robbins, North Carolina. She is also survived by a nephew, niece, and grand nephew and nieces whom she loved as her own.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather Tony Guin.
Services for Kathi will be held on Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at 2 PM, at Green Springs Baptist Church, 1095 E Green Springs Road, Parkton, NC 28371.
