Keith Neal Stone, 93, a resident of Fairland, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Grand Lake Villas, in Grove, Oklahoma. Mr. Stone was born on August 31, 1931, in Fairland, Oklahoma, to John and Jean (Bowen) Stone. He would attend and graduate from Fairland High School. He married his wife, Joyce Stone, together they would spend many wonderful years together. Keith worked in the oilfield industry as an operator and supervisor. He would travel all across the world with work. He worked in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Kuwait, Russia, Venezuela, France, and Germany, just to name a few. When he wasn't working he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time spoiling his dogs where they never missed a meal. Keith will always be remembered as an ornery jokester that loved to make people laugh. Mr. Stone is preceded in passing by his parents, John and Jean Stone, and his wife Joyce Stone.
Those left to share the memory of Mr. Stone include his children, Jeff Stone and his wife, Joyla of Afton, Doug Stone and his wife Joan of Tulsa, Melanie Daniels and her husband Niles, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Karen Wickman and her husband Ed, of Glendale, Arizona, step children, Kathy Bowers and her husband James, Jamie Rexroat, and Keith's sister, Helen Lundberg and her husband Kenneth. Keith is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation for Mr. Stone from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland. There will be a private family burial following.
