Kelly M. Dixon Cofske, 54, of Webster Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2024. Born on November 8, 1969, to Douglas and Judith (Whiteley) Dixon formally of Hampstead, New Hampshire. Kelly was a person whose presence was a source of unwavering love and kindness to all who knew her.
As an adored mother, she instilled her spirited nature and loving heart into her two children, Taren G. Cofske of Webster and Brenna S. Cofske of Connecticut. Kelly grew up in a vibrant and loving family, and the bonds she shared with her parents, now residing in Florida, and her siblings remained a cornerstone of her life. She was a cherished sister to Trevor D. Dixon and his wife Felicita of Florida, Erin B. Watson of Colorado, and Shannon J. Dixon-Yandow and her husband Mike of Vermont. Her role as a doting aunt to Adison, Cooper, Campbell, Carter, was one she embraced with joy and enthusiasm. Kelly's extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins also held a special place in her heart.
Educationally, Kelly was a 1988 graduate of Pinkerton Academy of Derry NH where she established a close-knit group of lifelong friends. She later obtained degrees at both New Hampshire College and Plymouth State University. She dedicated her professional life to nurturing young minds as a teacher at Northbridge High School. Prior to her calling in education, Kelly honed her skills in sales with the Aveda Cosmetics Company, where she developed lasting relationships and a reputation for her warm and engaging personality.
Kelly's zest for life was evident in her numerous interests and hobbies. An avid golfer, she was a regular on the greens, as a part of the GNOGL at Highfields in Grafton MA. The ocean was her happy place, with Old Orchard Beach in Maine being the backdrop for numerous cherished family memories. She also found joy in reading, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family.
Above all, Kelly's life centered around her family. She was a fixture at her children's sports games and special events, her pride and support unwavering. Her ability to make every moment count, to celebrate the victories and provide comfort in times of need, defined her as a loving and spirited individual.
Her spirit was infectious, and her ability to connect with people on a deep and meaningful level was one of her greatest gifts. Her laughter, her beautiful smile, and her unwavering support are qualities that will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
