Kenneth Fuhrman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Perinchief Chapels - Mount Holly on Sep. 12, 2024.
Kenneth G. Fuhrman, Jr. of Mount Holly passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was 68. Born in Nuremberg, Germany; he was the son of the late Kenneth G. Sr. and Joan F. (Cerria) Fuhrman.
Being born into the family of an active-duty member of the armed forces, Ken had been a seasoned traveler here in the U.S. and abroad by the time he was 11 years old.
In October 1967, he settled with his family in Willingboro, NJ and attended Memorial Junior High and later graduated from JFK High School in 1974. After attendance at Penco Tech for computers and the experience of several security related employment opportunities, Ken worked as a security specialist for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security until a short time before his passing.
In his younger days, he enjoyed and had an appreciation for riding motorcycles, building muscle cars and professional wrestling.
Ken enjoyed cooking and grilling. He loved music, especially country and rock and roll. He
was an avid dog lover - predeceased by his canine love and faithful friend - a Bassett Hound named Windsor. In later years, he would enjoy Saturday brunch with his father and sister, where they would have many conversations involving his effort to perfect his lawn.
He is survived by his sister, Linda C. Randall (late Joseph L.); nieces, Linda C. Reilly (Peter K.) and Cynthia M. Randall (Gary M. Yansick); great-niece, Sarah E. Reilly; Godsons, Brandon and Alexei Weiner and his longtime friends, "The Crummy Crew" - (Eric W., (Mary Ann) "of whom he was the sun, moon and stars") - Mary M., Debbie K., Mary C., Michelle S., and John K.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, September 17 from 10AM-12PM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mt. Holly. Funeral services will be held at 12PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in Kenneth's memory to Randall's Rescue, P.O. Box 1281, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054
