Kenneth C. Ratcliff, age 72, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Born at home in
Florence, Kentucky, he was lovingly raised by his late parents, Kenneth and Belva Jean Ratcliff. Kenneth's heart was heavy with the loss of his son, Joshua Densler, and his sister, Jane-ella Pitney, who preceded him in death. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Paula Ratcliff, and his devoted children, Lacey Owusu-Agyei (Kwesi), Danielle Roland (Bryan), and Dustin Coyne. Kenneth found immense joy in being a grandfather, a role he held dear as he adored Haley Densler, Issaiah Densler, Brianna Densler, David Hall, Blake Wells, Gavin Coyne, Bryson Coyne, Samuel Owusu-Agyei, and Kennedy Thomas. His heart expanded further with the arrival of his great-grandchildren, Liam and Violet Densler. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Karen Ratcliff, Jay Ratcliff (Pam), and Hope Ratcliff, along with many nieces and nephews whom he cared for deeply. Kenneth's commitment to serving others was evident through his honorable service in the United States Air Force. Following his military career, he continued to make a difference in his community as a member of the Boone County Police Department. After many fulfilling years in law enforcement, he enjoyed a second career with Delta Airlines, where he made many lasting memories. Kenneth will be remembered not just for his warm and welcoming spirit, but for the countless lives he touched. He never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His passion for youth sports was evident as he spent over 20 years refereeing football and umpiring baseball. An avid sports fan, he had a special place in his heart for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kentucky Wildcats. A graveside service with full military honors will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY, on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 12 p.m. The family warmly invites you to wear your favorite sportswear or your most vibrant attire.
