Kenneth HG Seilkop. Beloved husband of Marilyn L. Seilkop (nee Nutley). Loving father of Julie (Troy) Hammons, Amy Harrison, David K (Amy) Seilkop, Jacqui (Ken) Roell, John W. "Jay" (Jennifer) Kreimer. Devoted grandfather of Ashley (Jordan) Lacy, TJ Hammons, Alexis Harrison, Samantha (Alec)Drew, Jakob Seilkop, Melani Seilkop, Kyle Seilkop, Matthew (Noor Ridha) Fielder, Nicholas Fielder, Lynzie Fielder, Jillian Kreimer, Jonathan Kreimer, & Jeremy Kreimer. Cherished great-grandfather of Calli Brown, Paisley Drew & Vivian Lacy. Dear brother of Sue (Tom) Shackleford and the late Herbert H & Phyllis (Buck) Seilkop. Uncle to Sandra (Rick) Lingo, Steven (Donna Silvulka) Seilkop, Bradley (Katie) Shackleford and Adam (Migdalia) Shackleford. Also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert C & Edna (Meinking) Seilkop. Ken was a graduate from Mt Healthy High School (1956) where he played football for four years and was a member of the marching band. Ken also graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Agriculture Science (1960), was a member of the SAE Fraternity and played football for 4 years and was a part of the 1957 National Championship Football Team. Ken was known for his kindness, generosity, leadership, mentorship, and motivational drive. He was faithful and active in his church, Fleming Road UCC, where he served as trustee for many years. Ken spent his entire working career (never retired) building Seilkop Industries and served on the executive boards of the NTMA (National Tooling & Machining Association) and the TTMA (Tri-State Tooling & Manufacturing Association). He was active in government affairs and passionately collaborated with his congressmen. Ken enjoyed traveling with his wife and family, spending time with his dog Molly, religiously attending OSU football games, and hosting epic family get togethers. Ken's greatest accomplishment was his family. Ken passed away October 13, 2024, at the age of 86. A memorial service will take place November 8, 2024, with a visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am and service beginning at 11:00am at the Fleming Road UCC, 691 Fleming Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231. Please help us celebrate Ken’s devotion to The Ohio State University by wearing scarlet and grey. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fleming Road UCC Maintenance Fund, 691 Fleming Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231, American Cancer Society or TTMA (Tri-State Tooling and Manufacturing Association) PO Box 583, Goshen, Ohio 45122.
