Mr. Kenny Atkins, 79, beloved husband of twenty-five years to Mrs. Sandra Fox Atkins, of Graniteville, SC, entered into rest on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his home.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 2 o'clock at Langley United Methodist Church, 2696 Augusta Road, Langley, SC 29834, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3 o'clock.
Mr. Atkins was one of thirteen born on his family's dairy farm in Willard, Ohio, to the late Charles and Wanda Murphy Atkins. He proudly and with honor served his country in the United States Army. Kenny retired from the Savannah River Site with twenty years of service and was a faithful member of Langley United Methodist Church. Most days, you could find him working in his yard and starting or finishing a project or two. He was an exceptional golfer and shared his talent coaching a high school golf team.
With his warm smile and exceptional sense of humor, Kenny never met a stranger. Strangers were drawn to him, and he could strike up a conversation with almost anyone.
Left to cherish his memory along with his wife, Sandra, are his children, Ricky James Atkins, Jeffery Atkins, Nathan Atkins, Angela Dawn Roberts (Richard), and Kenneth Allen Fox; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in Kenny's memory to Langley United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 161, Langley, SC 29834.
