Kevin Charles Brown, 66, of Pierpont, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, October 25, 2024 from natural causes.
He was born on December 9, 1957 in Geneva, Ohio to parents Edna and Claude Brown.
After receiving his master's degree in history and education he had a long career as a history professor at Kent State University, Tri-C and Lakeland Community Colleges and was a substitute teacher in his later years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Raven's football, attending high school Friday night football games, meeting with friends and family for coffee, and taking his German Shepherds to participate in dog shows where he won multiple ribbons and awards. He was also a democrat enthusiast who was educated in history and loved bonfires and spending time with his two German Shepherds.
Kevin is survived by his children, Jerad (Leya) Brown, Kyle (Kori) Brown, Sarah Brown, Kevin Brown, and Alex (Haley) Brown; grandchildren, Lily, Chase, Vada, and Murdock. He was also the youngest of many siblings.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers.
There was a private family viewing prior to cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held in the future with close family and friends.
