Kimberly Ann Woo
November 20, 1959 - February 14, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kimberly Ann Woo, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 65.
Kimberly was born on November 20, 1959, at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, New York, to Richard and Patricia McEnroe. She was a proud graduate of St. Agnes High School in 1978, followed by earning a bachelor's degree in paralegal studies from St. John's University.
On September 8, 1995, Kimberly married her loving husband, Jim Woo, and together they built a beautiful life. They purchased their first home in Baldwin, New York in February 1996 and were blessed with their son, James Richard Woo, on December 3, 2000. The Woo family relocated to Rockville Centre in August 2005, where Kimberly spent her time focused on both her family and her career.
Kimberly devoted 25 years to Mercy Medical Center, where she worked in a variety of roles, contributing to the hospital and its patients with great care and compassion. Outside of work, she enjoyed traveling, hiking, cooking, watching sunsets, and spending quality time with family and friends. She had a love for aquariums, always appreciating the beauty of nature and the peacefulness it brought.
Kimberly is survived by her loving husband, Jim, and their son, James Richard Woo. She is also survived by her brothers, Richard McEnroe, Gregory McEnroe (Margaret), Kevin McEnroe, Gerard McEnroe (Gina), Daniel McEnroe, and her sister, Maureen Byrne (McEnroe). Known as Aunt Kimmie, she was dearly loved by her 22 nieces and nephews, who will forever hold her memory close.
She was predeceased by her parents, Patricia McEnroe (Sweeney) and Richard McEnroe, and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held on Wednesday, February 19th from 4-8pm at Macken Mortuary in Rockville Centre, New York. Funeral mass Friday February 21st at 10:45am at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, New York.
