Kristi Redick Obituary

Kristi Kay Redick, age 52, of Tower, died at home unexpectedly on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Born in Cheboygan on February 24, 1972, Kristi was raised in Tower and graduated from Onaway High School in the class of 1990. She went on to become Certified Nurse's Assistant and worked at Bay Bluff's Medical Care Facility in Harbor Springs and Golden Beach Manor at Huron Beach. Kind hearted, Kristi took great pride caring for her patients and loved everyone she worked with.
Kristi enjoyed listening to music, particularly classic rock, doing crafts, and cooking. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved cat, Barney. Close with her family, Kristi's greatest joy came from spending time with her daughter, Jessica. They had a special mother daughter bond and were always there for each other. They talked every day, sent texts constantly, and would do anything possible to help each other. Nurturing and loving, Kristi cherished the connection she had with her daughter.
Kristi loved being a mom and did a fantastic job raising her daughter. The love, respect, and understanding Kristi had for Jessica, she learned from the best, her own mom. Kristi went to her mom's house to visit every few days and they talked on the phone daily. Some of Kristi's best memories were family gatherings and holidays at her Mom's.
Kristi will be sadly missed by her daughter and best friend, Jessica Skiendzior (Bill Miller) of Cheboygan; mother, Jordan Covell; brothers, Jeff Brasseur and Todd Brasseur; aunt and uncle, Jill and Ray Magley; all of Tower; as well as many cousins.
Kristi was preceded in death by her stepfather, Roger Covell; grandparents, Richard and Virginia Dixon; aunts, Lisa Murray and Jeri Bundy; and cousin, Kayla Dixon.
As were Kristi's wishes cremation has taken place. She will be honored by her family privately.
