In loving memory of our Uncle Larry Baca, who passed away on February 20, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Larry was born in Grants, NM, on November 10, 1959, to Diego and Margaret Baca. He was the youngest of nine children. A lifelong resident of Grants, he enjoyed listening to music, whether it was on the radio or playing his guitar and singing. He loved to dance and led many girls onto the dance floor. Larry was a fan of the Grants High School Pirates, New Mexico Lobos and Denver Broncos. He was a joy to many friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Diego and Margaret Baca; his brothers Archie, Freddie, Sonny, Frankie, Leroy, Anthony and Richard and his sister Diana; as well as his sisters-in-law Jean and Sangelita "Satch" Baca,
Larry is survived by brother-in-law Salvador Marez; sisters-in-law Rhonda and Hazel Baca and many nephews, nieces and cousins
The Funeral Services for Larry Baca will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grants, NM, on Monday, March 3, 2025, with a Rosary at 10:30 am and Mass at 11:0 0am. Burial will be at the Grants Cemetery following the mass. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Pallbearers will be Martin, Jaime, Julian, and Estevan Gallegos, Matthew and Ryan Gutierrez, Julie Wilson and Karla Urioste.
Honorary pallbearers are Salvador Marez, Rhonda Baca, Hazel Baca, Rudy Gallegos, Chris Gutierrez and nephews and nieces.
