Larry enjoyed fishing, playing Poker and Solitaire in his free time, going to his kids' games, and enjoying time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Ruby (Otis) Dodson of Marion; Charlie Cox, Jr., of Marion; Joan Cox of Marion; Owen and Tilson Brooks of Memphis, TN; Amy Brooks of WI; his children, Tomia Scroggins, Margaret Smith, La'Kesha Foote, Terry Dean, Larwan Cox, Larry (Kimberly) Cox, Jr., Larry (Jochelle) Dean, Marty (Gabrielle) Cox, Tra'Quan Cox, Kathryn (Rob) Morgan, and Harley (Shae) Smith; 34 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Carter and Charlie Cox, Sr.; his daughter, Teasa Davis; his son, Lamar Davis; his sister, Mary (Toot) Smith; and his brothers, Thomas Cox and Billy Cox.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Greater Second Baptist Church, 705 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
