Larry King Obituary
Age 83, of Chaffee, NY, passed away on September 21, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.
He was born December 14, 1940 in Springville, NY, son of the late Douglas and Ruth Hebdon King. Larry worked for many years in different sawmills before retiring as the head sawyer at Maple Valley Hardwood Inc., in Freedom, NY. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. Larry also enjoyed playing horseshoes and euchre in his spare time, as well as woodworking and taking care of his garden where he grew ginseng.
Along with his parents, Larry is predeceased by a brother, Don King and a sister, Jean King.
He's survived by his son, Matthew (Tammy) King of Batavia; his daughter, Rose Hargrave of Warsaw; his brother, Paul (Donna) King of Delevan; his sisters, Judy (Moore) King of Ossining, NY, Linda (Reitz) King of Ocala, FL; his grandchildren, Dalton King, Amber King, Dylan King, Kira Toal, and Damian Hargrave; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per Larry's wishes there will not be any services held. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
