Mr. Larry Arthur Reynolds, age 86 of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt. Funeral services for Mr. Reynolds will be conducted on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 2PM in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Smudgins and Bro. Don Hudgins officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.
He was born April 18, 1938, in Morrisville, VT, the son of the late Howard Arthur & Helen Patterson Reynolds. He worked as a mechanical engineer at Stouffer Foods in Ohio before his retirement and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson. He served his country with the United States Marine Corp.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lawson Reynolds; daughter, Amanda Adkins; and five grandchildren, Breanna Reynolds, Madison Adkins, Jacklyn Adkins, Olivia Adkins, and Alyssa Adkins. He was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Arthur ‘Artie’ Reynolds II, Mark Allen Reynolds; brothers, Darwin Reynolds, Phillip Reynolds, Bryan Reynolds; and sister, Sandra Morin.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association https://act.alz.org/.
The family will receive friends from 11AM until service time on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Larry Arthur Reynolds.
